Mission Statement

SECURE THE BLESSINGS OF LIBERTY...

StopTheOutrage.org is a movement of the people, by the people and for the people. Our goal is to provide information to all people on the A-Z problems of the current economic crisis as well as the events that led to the crash of the US and global economy. This site is also ground zero for the grass roots effort to get the American people actively involved in the fate of our economic future. The United States of America constitution states, and we quote: "We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." Too often, we have watched the general welfare of our citizens abused by corporations in pursuit of greater profit for a select few. And too often we have felt too helpless to act. Our mission is to provide a vehicle of expressing our opinions on how our taxpayer dollars are spent and to whom they are given. This is NOT a red or blue ideological debate. The general welfare of all Americans is neither red, nor blue. Our interest is not in promoting either a conservative point of view or a liberal point of view. Our interest is to protect and ensure that our general welfare is the primary driver behind all decisions on how our taxpayer dollars are spent. On the broader scale, we will work as a unified group with people of all points of view in nurturing the seeds planted by our forbears when the constitution was written and celebrate our wins as we bring about change in all areas of our common experience as a nation.
